The ABDA database contains comprehensive facts and figures on drugs. Starting with parameters such as the name or active substance of a drug, the user can call up information on application and composition, risks and interactions as well as current notifications.
- German and foreign finished pharmaceutical products and their manufacturers.
- pharmaceutical substance lists with molecular formulas and physicochemical properties. Notes on derivatives, application, stability, etc.
- Dossiers on active substances with a summary of product characteristics on synthetic, biotechnical and herbal substances as well as allopathic, homeopathic and anthroposophic applications.
- Up-to-date information on newly introduced drugs, changes, recalls, notifications from the German Drug Commission AMK and other agencies.
Substances, medicines, manufacturers, and notifications are possible search entries. Several filter options (e.g., country) are available.
Cross-references allow quick navigation between a medicine, its ingredients, manufacturers, and notifications.
Important notifications can also be easily browsed by date.
